Solvation Chemistry series is a set of software developed on the basis of COSMO-RS theory for any mixture system. It predicts the thermodynamic properties of solutions based on highly accurate data obtained from quantum chemistry calculations, including: Activity coefficient, [vapor-liquid (VL), liquid-liquid (LL), solid-liquid (SL)] equilibrium, eutectic point, distillation separability, solubility [gas, liquid, solid (including crystal)], vapor pressure, heat of vaporization, Henry's constant, coefficient of partition of solute in any two solvents, heat of mixing (excess enthalpy and free enthalpy of mixture), reaction thermodynamics in solution, chemical potential, chemical potential gradient, density and viscosity of pure compounds, etc.
Compared to conventional Molecular dynamics (MD), COSMO-RS technology has proven to be more accurate and computations are three to four orders of magnitude faster than MD. The theory combines quantum chemistry and statistical thermodynamics in its unique way to support customers' research in the fields of solvent (including ionic solvents) screening, drug molecular screening, lithium-ion batteries, chemical process design, etc., helping users to predict the thermodynamic properties of solutions quickly and accurately.
